Hink's Bar and Grill is the no-nonsense corner bar on South California Street — family-owned, stocked with more than a hundred craft and import beers, and cooking burgers, pizza, and soups the homemade way.

The beer list is the reason a lot of folks find us: 100+ craft and import bottles alongside rotating draft handles, from Belgian ales to hard-to-find seasonal pours. The kitchen is the reason they stay — burgers pattied by hand, soups simmered from scratch, and thin-crust tavern pizza cut into squares. No gimmicks and no dress code, just a corner bar that takes its beer and its food seriously.

We're family-owned and sit a block from State Street's historic storefronts in downtown Sycamore, near the 1905 DeKalb County Courthouse. On karaoke nights the mic is open to anyone brave enough, bikes are always welcome out front, and the crowd is the same unpretentious local mix it's always been. Pull up a stool — you'll fit right in.
