A playful name, a serious love of tapas — the moon is always on the menu.
Tapa La Luna is a candlelit tapas and wine bistro on East Lincoln Highway in downtown DeKalb. The name is a wink — 'tapa the moon' — and the idea is just as simple: small Spanish plates meant for sharing, wines poured by the glass, and evenings that stretch as slowly as moonlight across the table.
Come with someone worth lingering with — perhaps before or after a show at the 1929 Egyptian Theatre, just around the corner on North Second Street. Order a few plates, then a few more, and let the table fill up the way a good night does — one small, delicious thing at a time.
